Hello, I’m Sara. I teach Kundalini Global yoga with a focus on anxiety recovery.
I hope that my yoga classes allow people to chill out or perk up when they’ve had a long/crappy day or a sleepless night. My experience is that yoga can help a lot in boosting low mood and coping with anxiety.
I teach the things that I practice myself to make sure my mind is a (mostly) bearable place to hang out. I aim to do that in a way that is honest, dogma-free, fun and funny. I am not (really, really, not) a healer or guru. I am a deeply-flawed human who has managed to put down some bad habits and take some strides forward in being able to cope with rocky mental health.
I support Carolyn on the Kundalini Global teacher training where, if you join us, you can look forward to witnessing me drinking too much coffee, eating a lot of refined sugar and doing an absurd number of planks to help me stay awake.
Other than my children, my biggest loves in life are good music and weird books. I am very clumsy and yoga hasn’t fixed that. I used to be extremely scared and anxious all of the time. Yoga has helped a lot with that, over the years.
