Bio:

My name is Julie. I am from Wales and I am currently based in Dubai. I am an Apprentice Herbalist and ongoing student. I am a 2021 Kundalini Global Graduate.

The teacher training brought huge transformations, shifts and much stillness into my yoga practice. The more stillness, the more I can hear my own voice, my feelings and my truth.

I am passionate that we can do so much when we can allow ourselves to feel still enough, safe enough, to be and fully connect.

I know when I practice my mind gets hooked up to a big bank of creative thoughts, I am present, I feel charged up – and with the release of endorphins, it’s all so heavenly.

Kundalini Global has held me up, with the tools to stay present, tools to calm, tools to tap into creativity – and best of all, to be myself, which I think is the greatest part of this practice.

Time and time again we can feel lost, be lost, anxious and worried –  and this style of yoga really allows our most authentic self to unveil and with the ability to know how to self regulate, it’s incredibly empowering.

Julie’s Pregnancy Classes

I am also now a certified pregnancy yoga teacher and am very happy to be teaching Kundalini Global Pregnancy yoga.

The birthing world and this rite of passage, person to parenthood, has always hugely fascinated me. It’s part of this miracle of life, creation.

I want to support parents in their pregnancy to give them the confidence to trust themselves fully, with compassion, to rely on their own inner wisdom and compass.

Tuning into the body, to know yourself fully and connect with your pregnancy in the here and now. I think it is one of the most magical and important things to do when preparing to birth a new mind. I believe this class is the formula for just that.

I aim to teach classes with an open mind, informative, with great kindness, fun and light.  To create a safe space for everyone to slow down, connect and communities to form.

Dealing with the real pregnancy of the times we are in, through yoga, stretching, breathing, dancing, (we must dance – even just a sway or side step)  Celebrating and nurturing this very sacred aspect of source, and you.

It’s a lovely practice, an experience of great stillness, much like a soft warm light pouring down on your ground, your mat, you and your pregnancy.  I am currently teaching in Dubai, a clinical Herbalist in training with a keen interest in remedies for the birthing world.

CLIENT FEEDBACK

“I really look forward to my class with Julie.  Being in my 3rd trimester has made it hard to resonate with exercise but julie has made this weekly practice so incredibly more than just exercise.  Connection to my baby, instilling wisdom and the power or breath and affirmations really sets the tone of my day.  Thanks Julie we appreciate you.”
