Sara-Jayne Edwards - Kundalini Global Teacher

Sara-Jayne is a Kundalini Global teacher who graduated in the first cohort of 2020. She has further certified in Mastering The Addictive Personality, Radically Inclusive Pregnancy Yoga and Altered States: The Breath.

Sara-Jayne aims to offer classes and workshops that welcome and include real, messy, chaotic, neurotic, humanity to the mat, with no judgement and no expectation. With a creative mind and a generous spirit, Sara-Jayne is passionate about sharing the practices within Kundalini Global as tools to help navigate chaos, anxiety and… real life! You will not often find her looking serene in a woodland doing Tree Pose. More likely she’ll be found hunched over a laptop, surrounded by books, working on a thousand projects, stopping to breathe and stretch every so often to reset.

Away from the world of yoga, Sara has spent the last two decades working in the publishing industry, specialising in online marketing and specialist information publishing. She worked as the digital manager for an education publisher and the managing editor for a collection of niche lifestyle titles. She is a freelance digital marketer and copywriter, zine publisher and more.

Her special skill is to generate ideas and then make them happen… something that has only been made more potent in training with Carolyn and stepping up to teach KG.

Hannah Joseph - Kundalini Global Teacher

Hannah is a Kundalini Global teacher who graduated in the first cohort in 2020. She teaches under the name kindness kundalini. Hannah’s journey of becoming a yoga teacher is one of becoming embodied and gaining insight into her Indian heritage.

The powerful practice of Kundalini yoga, where what we experience on the mat translates beautifully into our day-to-day life, whether stillness, strength, determination or surrender, has been a profound gift that has been both healing and empowering. Hannah is passionate about sharing the deeply meditative practice in her classes, placing importance of teaching in a safe and inclusive space. She believes that, attuning to the divine within, finding stillness and peace away from our daily responsibilities, even just for a moment, to experience ourselves differently in the ‘here and now’ is so needed right now.

Hannah focuses her time between teaching yoga and creating illustration commissions. She grew up in Japan and has been travelling since she can remember. Having lived in various cities and towns both in the UK and Japan, she has also travelled widely for work including USA, South America, Africa and Europe. Hannah’s background is in design and print, and she is still vastly inspired by visual art, however, she now sees creativity as a profoundly divine practice.

Julie Faye Evans - Kundalini Global Teacher

Julie is a Kundalini Global teacher who graduated in 2022, and a recent Radically Inclusive Pregnancy Yoga graduate.

Julie is from Wales and grew up near Swansea. Currently living in Dubai teaching Kundalini Global.

When Julie is in Wales she also teaches at the local community centre.

In 2020 Julie began studying to become a Herbalist and is an ongoing student at a Herbalist school. She is very passionate about the remedy making part of Herbalism, and keeping plant folklore, all the stories, a very sacred aspect of source alive. A strong nettle tea is usually by her side. Freedom, creativity and curiosity are at the core of Julie’s values.

Julie believes that Kundalini Global is so powerful in reclaiming ourselves, like a call back, to our authentic self and embarking on an ever-unfolding learning of who we are. It’s like a big invitation to freedom, out of the depths of worries and fears, and where the creativity within us is lit up.

To self regulate in all of the uncertainty is something Julie finds extremely important. Through the practices of Kundalini Global Julie believes we can build the nervous system up so much that it allows ourselves to feel safe, and it’s here we can have the courage to just be ourselves and practise active presence. Julie cannot imagine her life without Kundalini Global. ‘It’s epic, it’s wonderful, and so needed in the current climate.

Carrie Sherriff - Kundalini Global Teacher

Carrie has been a regular in Carolyn Cowan’s Kundalini Global classes and workshops for many years and is proud to be one of the first Kundalini Global Teacher Training graduates. Having drawn on Kundalini Global practices to support herself through profoundly transformational events in her personal life, and to hold herself throughout periods of intense medical treatment, Carrie knows the extraordinary alchemy made possible by Kundalini Global Yoga. A recovering obsessive and compulsive thinker, Carrie has vast experience with the debilitating tricks the mind can play to keep us feeling small, and in a constant state of anxiety and contraction. And she knows the liberation possible with a regular Kundalini Global yoga practice. Relishing her very large wings – provided by the Kundalini Global Teacher Training – Carrie has the enormous privilege of sharing the tools (and the immense joy!) of Kundalini Global with trainees and future teachers.

Sarah Naguib - Kundalini Global Teacher

After years of practicing alongside videos of Carolyn wherever she could find them, Sarah did something amazing and certified to teach Kundalini Global yoga in 2021.

Sarah is fascinated by the impacts of trauma and anxiety on the body and sense of self. In turn, she has been captivated by this incredible form of yoga from the get go as she discovered first-hand the effects it has on the mind-body connection, on her relationship to herself and others, but also on the internal dialogue, on resilience and impulse control, on self esteem and on the capacity to tolerate difficult emotions.

Because she truly believes that Kundalini Global is radically transformative and healing, her approach to teaching is through a lens focused on regulation as a tool towards self reclamation and recovery. Sarah hopes to hold a space where she can share this practice with as much love, kindness and integrity as she was taught.
