Hello, I’m Carrie Sherriff and I specialise in:

  • Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga
  • Addiction/Recovery support
  • Yoga to manage anxiety and high stress levels

Until I discovered Kundalini Global yoga, I believed the common misconception that if we want to feel better, we need to change how we are thinking. Through Kundalini Global classes and workshops, I quickly learned that, in order to improve our emotional states and our harmful thinking patterns, we must first change how we feel. The scientific evidence is indisputable. 

What I love about Kundalini Global, and why it is such a potent practice, is that it combines the ancient wisdom of yoga with the latest research in neuroscience and somatic approaches to mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health. With an understanding of the way that distressing mental and emotional states manifest in the body, we are able to work with that system to take it over, reprogram it, and recondition the entire mind/body/spirit system – holistically.

We also work strongly with intention as we practice, informed by applied Physics, and through the potent power of intention, we are able to transform how we move through our lives, empowered to thrive, whatever challenge we may be facing at that time. 

With a regular practice we are stronger, more capable, able to trust ourselves, find clarity, presence, and stillness. From this place, we can access our innate wisdom and intuition. Life is just better when lived from this place. We might even be able to keep our sense of humour through the tough times. It is a privilege for me to be able to share these practices with my clients now in my own classes and workshops.

A session with me can be as challenging or as gentle as you need that day.

My classes are suitable for beginners – as well as experienced Kundalini Global yogis – and for all ability, fitness and flexibility levels. Adjustments are always offered to facilitate an effective practice for each individual client. We will practice breaths and postures together, with a focus on how these tools can be taken away and used in your daily life. I curate every class with a specially selected playlist. 

I primarily teach in North London, but I regularly hold online classes. I offer workshops in the London area, and also offer 1-2-1 sessions both in person and online.

What is a radically inclusive pregnancy yoga class?

It is a yoga class that understands that pregnancy is so much more than a multitude of physical changes and looking forward to having a baby.

Every pregnant body is different and the right yoga teacher knows how to adjust every posture for every challenge, whether it’s sciatica, SPD or just pure exhaustion.
