Bio:

I’m Lucy and I’m absolutely fascinated by the altered states we can take ourselves to through yoga and breath.

I’ve been practicing yoga for 25 years and trained as a Hatha yoga teacher before discovering Kundalini Global.

This became instrumental in my recovery journey, helping me to regulate my own anxious and addictive behaviours, and remain sober.

I am particularly interested in how these powerful tools can help us to manage difficult emotions and ultimately change how we feel. Yoga & breath can give us the awareness and space to choose how we respond to life. Working with the nervous system, particularly the vagus nerve, and contracted states within the body, we can release stressed and anxious states and move into expansiveness and presence.

The true connection I have felt through my practice, discovering something greater than myself, has been a huge part of my life and I’m excited to share the tools that have helped me so much. My intention is to hold a safe space where people can trust me to show them how to initiate a change in how they feel. We all have our story and emotional responses to life – this is an invitation to experience the quantum field of possibilities and the way we can transform through the breath, posture and intention.

My Classes

I teach regular classes and workshops in Bristol in yoga centres and community spaces, and monthly breath led immersions in the beautiful Mount Without, a 900 year old church. I love connecting with people in community.

My classes are dynamic, music-led practices that help to create expansion and presence. Open to all levels, they are an opportunity to lighten the load, change how you feel, and drop into expanded and even blissful states. I absolutely love creating a community where we can practise together in a welcoming, supportive and often magical space.
